Male Degu, originating from South America, this chipmunk look alike is a sweet little companion. Good for kids, he is easily scooped up to be held. Diet is a combination of hamster food and chinchilla pellets, but be warned that I recommend NO fruits or goodies of any kind due to degus being very susceptable to Diabetes and are prone to going blind if given any food with sugar.
