Icelandic Sheep for sale We have four proven ewes (three brown and one black) for sale. All had twins in 2008. We are also selling one ram lamb (brown/white spotted). All are polled purebred unregistered Icelandic. $200obo each or $700 for all 4 ewes These sheep are excellent for small hobby farmers. They are very low maintanence (minimal need for shelter, no need for grain, no docking tails, easy birthing) and they shed do you don't have to shear them if you don't want. They eat lots of weeds including burdock, cocklebur and stinging nettle, excellent to help de-weed a pasture (we have them with our horses). We just need to lower our count a little to balance or animals with our available pasture.
