I am a volunteer person working with troubled youth, as well as other kids. I am looking for beginner, kid safe horses for kids to learn to care for, groom, ride, ect.. My goal is to get kids involved with horses, instead of drugs, alcohol, stealing, ect.. Horses Ok for only light work or lead line are OK too. I work with preschool through highschool kids. I currently have only two kid broke horses. Purple a 31 year old retired ranch horse and Dakota a 23 year old Mustang gelding. Purple arrived as a weanling, and Dakota was purchased 11 years ago. All of my other horses are only greenbroke, and not appropriate for beginner kids. Everything is non-profit volunteer, thus all funds and cost are out of my own pocket. Our kids are so important to our future. Thus, I am asking for help in finding appropriate horses. I can give vet. and farrier references if you would like. All horses are very well cared for.
